As a Nurse( Clinical/Medical-Surg) you will: - Provide comprehensive age appropriate nursing care to medical surgical patients. - Perform a variety of administrative/floor duties as an extension and in support of the head nurse. - Administer oxygen, IV fluid, blood transfusion and medications. - Serve as a team leader and charge nurse and make decisions regarding priorities in patient care for shift assignments. - Set up, operate, and monitor medical equipment such as oxygen masks, Ambulatory bags, intravenous pumps, wall suction, etc. - Instruct patient and family members regarding disease process and provides emotional support as needed.
