Seeking a locum Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner or Physican Assistant

Dates Coverage Is Needed:  (1 person that can cover the entire 2 weeks)

July 7-11, each shift if 2p-10p

July 14-18, each shift is 2p-10p

--Focus on admissions, consults and co-management of ED holds and admitted patients

--Established hospitalist service inclusive of 2 physicians and 4 Advanced Practice Providers

--Average total inpatient census: 17-21

--Average number of patients per day per APP: 8-10

--Average number of admissions per day: 4-6 during the day and 5-7 at night

--No critical care responsibilities

--Locums will respond to codes but not in the ED

--Locums will not serve as back up in the Emergency Department but will consult on holds in the ED.

--Comprehensive medical staff including General Surgery, Emergency Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Cardiology, Orthopedics, ENT, Primary Care and Oncology

--Required: NC license and DEA, BLS, ACLS, orientation before first scheduled shift
