• 7 am - 7 am 24-hour call coverage with 30-minute response time
• Average 1 - 2 callbacks per day
• Level III trauma center
• Emergency general surgery and trauma surgery required
• ATLS certification required
• Only admit patients 18 and older
• Must be able to round on patients
• Chest tube and central line placement skills needed
