Locums General SurgeryLocation: Grand Island, NebraskaLicense: Active NE license or IMLC (LOQ in hand) RequiredDates Needed: December 2228, 2025Shift: 24-hour call (7:00 AM 7:00 AM daily)Duration: 1-week locums assignmentSetting: Inpatient/Outpatient Hospital 159-bed facilityTrauma Level: Level IIIClinical Scope:

Duties: 24/7 Trauma and Acute Surgery call coverage
Procedures: General surgery must be comfortable with trauma
Support: Hospital-based inpatient staff only
EMR: Epic

Requirements:

Board Certification or Eligibility in General Surgery Required
General Surgery Residency Required
Active NE License or IMLC with LOQ in hand Required
ATLS Certification Required

Additional Information:

Reason for Coverage: Hospital previously covered by two groups; one (4-person group) has withdrawn, creating immediate need
High-impact coverage role must be able to work independently
Trauma experience necessary due to acuity and volume
