Locum Tenens Radiology Opportunity Long Beach, CaliforniaFlexible Weekend Shifts at a Reputable HospitalLocation: Long Beach Medical Center, Long Beach, CAStart Date: ASAPContract Length: 13+ weeksCall Requirements: NonePosition Overview:We are seeking a Board-Certified Diagnostic Radiologist for weekend locum coverage at a respected hospital in Long Beach. This is a high-volume, inpatient role in a well-supported clinical environment using EPIC as the EMR system.Schedule Details:
  • Shifts: Saturdays and Sundays, 8:00 AM 6:00 PM (10-hour shifts)
  • Minimum Commitment: At least one weekend per month; more shifts are available and preferred
  • Onsite Only: Remote options are not available
  • Call: None
  • Additional Opportunities: Shorter 5-hour shifts (8:00 AM 1:00 PM) may occasionally be available
Orientation:Before starting clinical work, the provider must be available for two weekday orientation days onsite for system setup, training, and a brief quality review by the supervising physician.Key Highlights:
  • High patient volume with another radiologist covering 8:00 AM 1:00 PM
  • Work includes all diagnostic imaging studies coming in during the shift
  • Supportive hospital staff and resources
  • No work carryoverradiologists are expected to complete all reads during their shift
  • Excellent opportunity to pick up extra income on weekends
Requirements:
  • Board Certified in Diagnostic Radiology
  • Active, unrestricted California medical license
  • BLS or ACLS certification
  • Valid DEA license
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant post-training experience
