Job Description

Locums Opportunity Radiation OncologistLocation: Duluth, MinnesotaStart Date: 2/1/2026 OngoingSchedule & Availability
  • Clinic Hours: 7:30 AM 5:00 PM (based on patient volume)
  • Call: 7:30 AM 5:30 PM during clinic hours only
  • Call Type: Beeper
  • Call Response Time: 20 minutes
  • Call Ratio: 1:4
  • Clinic + Call: 1 week per month
  • Any week of the month is acceptable
  • No nighttime, evening, or weekend call
Clinical Responsibilities
  • Patients per shift: 1012 in clinic
  • Oversee ~25 treatments/day (IMRT, SBRT, 3D-CRT, SRS)
  • Exam rooms: 2
  • Admission required
  • Rarely rounding on radiation oncology inpatients
Equipment & Software:
  • Varian TrueBeam Linear Accelerator
  • Siemens Healthineers CT-Sim with respiratory gating
  • Treatment planning: Varian Aria/Eclipse
  • Weekly onsite physics coverage + remote dosimetry
Licenses & Certifications
  • Board Certified (required)
  • Fellowship (required)
  • BLS (required)
  • DEA (required)
