Locums Pulmonologist Job | Northern New HampshirePosition Details

  • Type: Locum Tenens

  • Setting: Outpatient only (no inpatient or critical care)

  • Licensing:

    • Locum license available

    • Must be fully payer-enrolled (cannot bill as a locum due to covering an APP)

    • NH-licensed candidates strongly preferred due to payer enrollment delays

  • Candidate Requirements:

    • Must commit to completing licensing + credentialing efficiently

    • Must be comfortable driving in winter/rural conditions

    • Experience in Pulmonary Medicine required

    • Rural Health Clinic experience helpful

      Dates Needed

      • January 2630, 2026 (35 days)

      • February 12 April 10, 2026

        • 35 days per week

        Schedule

        • Hours: 8:00a5:00p (unpaid lunch 121p)

        • Flexibility: 35 days/week

        • No overtime, no holidays, no call, no inpatient consults

        Clinic Locations

        • Monday: Lancaster

        • Tuesday: Optional

        • Wednesday: Alternating between Whitefield & Littleton

        • Thursday: Lancaster

        • Friday: Optional

        • Clinics only 15 minutes apart (travel time not billable)

        Clinical Details

        • Avg. 15 patients/day (predominantly elderly population)

        • Visit Types:

          • New consults: 1 hour

          • Follow-ups: 30 minutes

        • Support: Assigned MA, practice RN, RN department manager

        • EMR: Meditech Expanse

          Common Diagnoses

          • COPD

          • Asthma

          • Lung cancer

          • Pulmonary nodules

          • Bronchiolitis

          • Oxygen dependency

          Available Services

          • Radiology (Lancaster)

          • PFTs

          • Overnight oximetry

          • 6-minute walk tests

          • Labs

          • PT/OT/Speech therapy
