Outpatient Psychiatry Opportunity in Tacoma, WA
 
Adult Psychiatrist
Location: Tacoma, Washington
Hours: Full-time, Onsite
Compensation: At or above $350,000, commensurate with experience
 
POSITION OVERVIEW:
IPC is seeking a motivated, compassionate Adult Psychiatrist to provide outpatient care in a residential care setting. The role offers schedule flexibility to practice across a four- or five-day workweek and boasts no call or weekend requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 
  • Provide quality-driven care in an outpatient-focused setting.
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and manage ongoing treatment for an Adult-only, diverse, patient population.
  • Guide, collaborate with multi-disciplinary team of MAs, Nurses, LCSWs, and Techs.
  • Conduct initial psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management for caseload.
  • Participate in regular team meetings to discuss patient progress and adjust treatment strategies as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
  • Full-time, on-site position - 40 hours per week.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • MD or DO with Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Psychiatry.
  • Active, unrestricted medical license in Washington required or ability to obtain.
  • Active DEA registration or eligibility to obtain one.
  • Strong clinical skills with a commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
