Full-Time Inpatient Psychiatry Position Muskegon, MichiganAcademic-Affiliated | Growth Opportunity | Premier Lakeside CommunityRecruitWell is working with a leading health system in Muskegon, MI to identify a Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible Psychiatrist for a full-time inpatient psychiatry position. Role: Inpatient Psychiatrist
Location: Dedicated Behavioral Health Unit Muskegon, MI
Schedule: MondayFriday, 8:00 AM5:00 PM (flexible within that framework)
Call: 1:4 weekend rotation (additional shifts available for extra pay)
Start Date: As soon as credentialed

Key Responsibilities:

Perform comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and manage adult inpatient treatment plans
Prescribe and monitor psychotropic medications
Participate in daily clinical rounds and collaborative team discussions
Work closely with a fully staffed multidisciplinary team: APPs, RNs, social workers, case managers, and other specialists
Document care accurately using Epic EMR
Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows in an academic-affiliated setting
Opportunity to expand into outpatient care, leadership, or research, based on interest

Candidate Requirements:

Board Certified (or Truly Board Eligible within 2 years of eligibility)
Open to recent graduates or experienced providers
Not accepting Locums or candidates with lapsed board certification
