Locums Physical Medicine & Rehab (PM&R) | South Burlington, VermontBotox for Spasticity Management | Outpatient | Neurology & Anesthesiology ConsideredAssignment Details
  • Coverage Dates: January 19, 2026 July 19, 2026
  • Setting: Outpatient physiatry program
  • EMR: Epic
  • Call: None
  • Patient Load: Full clinic schedule
Skills & Procedural Requirements
  • Required Procedure: Botox injections for spasticity management
  • Preferred Additional Skill: EMGs (strongly desired but not mandatory)
  • Scope of Practice:
    • Outpatient clinic sessions
    • Management of spasticity patients
    • Botox procedures
  • No Supervision Required: RN and MA support provided
  • Independent Practice: Yes
Schedule Expectations
  • Clinic Sessions:
    • Two full-day clinic sessions per week
    • Three weeks per month
  • Shift Hours: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
  • Flexibility:
    • AM/PM sessions available most weekdays
    • Assignment could expand if candidate has EMG skills
  • Procedures/Surgery Volume: TBD based on expertise
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Specialties Considered:
    • Physiatry (PM&R)
    • Neurology
    • Anesthesiology (pain-trained)
  • Skillset Priority: Botox competency more important than specialty
  • Board Status: Board Certified in appropriate specialty
  • Certifications: BLS required
Additional Notes for Recruiters
  • Facility is open to Neurology or Anesthesiology-trained physicians if they have strong spasticity/Botox experience.
  • If a candidate can perform EMGs, assignment may expand to include more clinic coverage.
  • No call, no inpatient work, entirely outpatient-focused.
  • Flexible scheduling and half-day options available.
