Locums Opportunity Physiatrist (PM&R) in Fort Collins, Colorado (IMLC Accepted)

Join a well-established inpatient rehab team in scenic northern Colorado. This is an excellent locum tenens opportunity for a board-certified physiatrist seeking a consistent schedule, manageable call, and a team-based inpatient environment.

Position Highlights:

• Start Date: ASAP Ongoing

• Schedule:

• Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays each week

• Occasional weekend call (every 4th7th weekend, flexible)

• Day Shift: 7:00 AM 5:00 PM

• Night Call: 5:00 PM 7:00 AM (very low call volume, rare call-backs)

• No supervision required of other healthcare providers

• Locums will be the only PM&R provider on-site during coverage

  Practice Setting & Patient Mix:

  • 100% Adult Inpatient Rehab

  • CNS Rehab: 50%

  • Sports/Ortho: 33%

  • Medical Rehab: 17%

• Average Daily Census: 14 patients

• Supportive environment with 7 PM&R physicians in the group

• No clinic responsibilities

  Facility Details:

  • 300-bed hospital | Level III Trauma

  • EMR: Epic

  • X-ray available on-site

  • 14 exam rooms

  • Common transfer distance: 1328 miles from affiliate hospitals

  Required Procedures:

  • Inpatient rehab facility management

  • Sub-acute inpatient care

  Candidate Requirements:

  • Board Certified Physiatrist (PM&R) Required

  • Active Colorado License Required
