Hózhó is the Navajo word for balance and beauty. Join a medical center focused on bringing Hózhó to its patients and community in Northern Arizona.

Schedule:

• Flexible start date, potential long-term assignment
• Full-time, Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm
• No call, no weekends

Practice Details:

• Patient ages range from newborns to 18 years old
• Majority of patient population is part of Navajo tribe
• Common cases: Ear Infections, Influenza, Bronchitis, RSV, Hand Foot Mouth Disease, Conjunctivitis, Gastroenteritis, Sinusitis, Strep Throat
• Common procedures: Immunizations, removal of foreign bodies, incision/drainage of abscess, simple laceration repair, wellness exams

Setting:

• Pediatric clinic located in a small medical center
• 8 other Pediatricians on the floor to assist along with RNs & MAs
• Outpatient work, potential inpatient if interested

Location:

• Part of the Navajo Nation territory in Northern Arizona
• Explore the local tribal parks, reservations, and historical museums
• Culturally rich community with striking landscapes and stunning natural beauty
