Job Description
A health system is seeking a Pediatric Surgeon for locum tenens coverage.
The facility is located in Central New Hampshire.
This is an on-call pediatric surgery position scheduled from 5 p.m. on Friday, December 26, to 8 a.m. on Monday, December 29, with a required week-long orientation that occurs every two weeks. Candidates must be board certified with a fellowship in pediatrics; those willing to obtain a New Hampshire license are welcome to apply, as licensing is quick. The most common procedure during call is laparoscopic appendectomy. While pediatric surgery does not handle initial trauma response, they take over the next day for tertiary surveys and management. Most neonatal surgeries occur on weekdays. Call volume typically includes 23 patients from the ED or inpatient floors. EMR used is Epic, and support staff details are pending.
