Locum Tenens Pediatric PulmonologistLocation: Charleston, West VirginiaFacility Type: Acute Care Hospital (Adult Trauma Level IV)Department: Pediatric PulmonologyWilling to License: Yes (state license required)Start Date: January 5, 2026Contract Length: Ongoing (undetermined length)Availability / Schedule

Clinic Coverage: MondayFriday, AM/PM
Inpatient Coverage: As backup only if other pediatric pulmonologist is off (home call)
Coverage Needed: 2 weeks per month
Patient Load: ~20 patients/day when scheduled full-day clinic

Work Setting

Practice Setting: Hospital-based
Patient Population: Pediatric patients up to 21 years old
EMR System: Cerner

Procedures & Skills Required

Interpret pulmonary function tests (PFTs)
Read full PFTs and spirometry
Perform or interpret bronchoscopies

Support Staff

Medical Assistants
Respiratory Therapist (Cystic Fibrosis Clinic)
Social Worker
CF Nurse/Coordinator
Dietitian

Credentialing Requirements

Board Certification: Required (Pediatrics)
Certifications:
BLS
ACLS
PALS

DEA: Required

State License: Required (willing to license candidates)Additional Notes
