Job Description

  • Provide comprehensive OB/GYN hospitalist care in two major facilities: Swedish Medical Center-First Hill (6,000 deliveries/year) and Swedish Issaquah (1,800 deliveries/year)
  • Support Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) and OB providers with labor and deliveries, surgical assists, and obstetric emergencies
  • Manage obstetric triage and emergency situations, including ectopic pregnancies and torsions
  • Perform routine GYN procedures, including diagnostic laparoscopy, supporting the Emergency Department
  • Participate in academic activities, teaching OB fellows and residents from OB and family medicine programs
  • Collaborate with a respected maternal-fetal medicine team in a collegial and supportive environment
  • Work a flexible schedule of 6'8 24-hour shifts per month promoting a healthy work-life balance

Compensation and Benefits

  • Base pay range: $285,120 to $380,160 annually, based on number of shifts worked
  • $20,000 Sign-On Bonus

  • Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) or Board Certified in OB/GYN -REQUIRED
  • Valid Washington state medical license (or willingness to obtain) 'REQUIRED
  • OB Hospitalist work experience- PREFERRED
  • Clean malpractice and license history 'HIGHLY PREFERRED
  • Does provider already live in the area or they willing to relocate? (note in "Additional Submission Details" field) -REQUIRED
