Job Description

Full-Time OB/GYN Hospitalist Davenport, IAFacility Type: Hospital-Based | Inpatient OnlyPosition Type: Full-Time, Permanent Not accepting locums or visa candidatesRole Overview

Join a busy and collaborative OB/GYN hospitalist team
Work closely with community health clinics (FQHC) and certified nurse midwives
Inpatient-only coverage including:
- Labor & delivery
- OB/GYN triage
- ER calls as needed
- Post-op and postpartum rounding
High volume: ~80 deliveries per month
24-hour in-house coverage model begins April 2025
Participate in a collaborative, multidisciplinary care team with anesthesia, NICU, and midwives
No separate doc call strictly a hospitalist position

Requirements

Board Certified in OB/GYN Required
Malpractice: Must have clean record
- Cannot accept providers with current supervision requirements or active probate cases
Licensure: Must be eligible for Iowa medical license
Not accepting: Locum candidates or visa holders (no H1B or J1 for this role)
