• Call schedule: 1 week per month, 24/7 for 7 consecutive days
• 20 clinic patients per day
• Level 1 trauma center and comprehensive stroke program
• 5-10 surgeries per month
• EVD placement, craniotomies, bolt placement required
• Spine trauma surgery and emergent spine cases
• Patients initially seen by APPs, reviewed with neurosurgeon
• Brain tumor surgery and shunt procedures
• Paid malpractice insurance; pre-paid travel and housing expenses
• Assignment details and time entry in online portal
