Full-Time Neurosurgeon Opportunity Endovascular PreferredLocation: Saginaw, MichiganClinical Role
  • Position Type: Full-Time (Not accepting locums)
  • Visa Status: Not eligible for J-1 or H-1B visa sponsorship
  • Specialty Focus: Neurosurgery
    • Preference for candidates with neuroendovascular training
  • Facility:
    • 650-bed hospital
    • Level II Trauma Center
    • Primary Stroke Center working toward Comprehensive Stroke Center designation
    • High-volume ED (~100,000 visits/year)
    • Dedicated 10-bed Neurotrauma ICU
  • Team Structure:
    • Join 3 neurosurgeons, 4 medical neurologists
    • Supported by neuroradiologists and physiatrists
  • Clinical Scope:
    • Broad range of neurosurgical procedures
    • Use of advanced neuroimaging and surgical technology
    • Participate in stroke rehabilitation via Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation partnership
  • Academic Involvement:
    • Opportunity to teach and mentor if desired
Licensure & Training Requirements
  • Board Certification: Required
  • Training: Neuroendovascular training preferred
  • Licensure: Must be eligible for medical licensure in the state of Michigan
