As an assistant medical director you will aid the hospitalist medical director in oversight and support of all clinical and non-clinical activities provided by the program plus ensure the team maintains focus on providing the best quality patient care to those we serve. 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Clinical shifts as a hospitalist with administrative tasks 
• Assist with recruitment efforts and HR tasks
• Routine clinician communication within the program and providing feedback as needed
• Collaborative with specialists and support staff
• Assist with managing the program to meet clinical, operational, and financial goals
• Maintain open rapport with facility leadership 
• Orientate and onboard new hires into the program 
• Oversee program staffing and scheduling 
• Meet regularly with nursing, facility leadership, and directors of ancillary departments that support the hospitalist's work
• Aid in and provide input for routine performance reviews
