Hospitalist Physician Job Description & Requirements Hospitalist Physician StartDate: ASAP Pay Rate: $179.45 - $194.25 This facility is seeking a Hospitalist Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need. Details and requirements for this opportunity: Schedule: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (Nocturnist); 12-hour shifts; nights and weekends available; no call. Total census per provider per shift: 18-24 patients rounded daily Procedures required: ICU admissions, running codes, critical care management, initial ventilator management (first 24 hours), vasopressor titration, antiarrhythmic drips, Nicardipine drips, and central lines. Paracentesis and thoracentesis are preferred but not required. Support: subspecialty support available Certifications and license required: Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine; active Georgia medical license and Georgia Drug Enforcement Administration License (DEA)required; hospitalist experience required.
