Locums Opportunity Hematology/Oncology -Dover & Milford, Delaware | IMLC Welcome

Join a well-supported Hem/Onc team in Delaware for a rewarding 12-week locum tenens assignment. Whether you're looking for full-time coverage or prefer to split the schedule with another physician, this opportunity offers flexibility, great support staff, and a manageable call schedule.

Assignment Details:

• Start Date: September 11, 2025

• Duration: 12 weeks (option to split with another provider)

• Reason for coverage: FMLA leave

• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM4 PM

  • 4 days/week at Dover

  • 1 day/week at Milford

• Setting: Inpatient and outpatient (no procedures)

• Daily volume: 1520 patients

• Call: 1 in 6

  • Weeknight call: 4 PM8 AM

  • Weekend call: 24-hour coverage Saturday & Sunday

  • Call coverage spans both sites

• EMR: Epic

Support Staff Includes:

• Nurse practitioners for call weeks

• Hem/Onc fellows

• LPNs, medical assistants, infusion nurses

• Front desk team, nurse navigators

Candidate Requirements:

• Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in Hematology/Oncology

  • Will not accept BC Hematology-only or Oncology-only

• IMLC and licensing candidates welcome

  • Preference given to those with active DE license or IMLC

  • Must transfer DEA (process can take up to 3 months); CSR may take up to 4 weeks

• No procedures required

• Must be vaccinated for influenza (or wear a mask)
