Hickory, North Carolina Gastroenterologist Job

Clinical Role

  • Permanent position

  • Seeking a board certified or truly board eligible Gastroenterologist

  • Join an established GI practice in Catawba County

  • Call: 1:8 (approx. 45 days/month)

  • Strong support:

    • 9 physicians

    • 6 APPs

    • Dedicated MA per physician

  • Balanced schedule with dedicated administrative time

  • Growing practice with expanded ASC endoscopy rooms and clinic space

  • Annual volumes: ~11,000 colonoscopies and ~3,500 EGDs

  • EMR:

    • Clinic: gGastro

    • Inpatient: Meditech

    • Schedule:

      • Clinic: MonFri, 85

      • Endoscopy Center: MonFri, 74

      • Rotation between endoscopy, clinic, and hospital

      • Clinic volume: 1720 patients/day

      • Dedicated CRNAs and full anesthesia support

      • 2 ORs/GI suites

      • ERCP/EUS preferred but not required

      • Morning procedures, afternoon clinic

      • Dedicated hospitalist coverage (7 AM5 PM)

      • Inpatient weeks include APP support and no clinic duties
