Job Description

Part-Time Family Medicine Physician (or IM/Peds) - Advanced Primary Care | Chesterton & Merrillville, IN

We have an exciting part-time (28 hours/week) opening for a dedicated and innovative Family Medicine Physician (or IM/Peds) to join an employer-sponsored advanced primary care clinic in Chesterton & Merrillville, Indiana.

In this unique role, you'll focus on quality, outcomes, and prevention - not volume. Join a mission-driven team that's redefining primary care by prioritizing physician autonomy, smaller patient panels, and whole-person wellness.

Why You'll Love This Role:

  • Smaller Patient Panel: Less than half the size of traditional PCP panels
  • Work-Life Balance: No call, predictable workweek, part-time flexibility
  • Clinic Locations: 2.5 days/week in Chesterton, 1 day/week in Merrillville
  • More Time for Care: Reduced administrative load
  • Focus on Prevention: Deliver proactive, not reactive care

Compensation & Benefits:

  • $140,000-$192,500 base salary (for 28 hrs/week; negotiable based on experience)
  • $10,000 sign-on bonus
  • Annual performance bonus
  • Full benefits package: Paid vacation, CME, matching 401(k), and retirement plan
  • Meaningful work with measurable impact on patients' lives

Qualifications:

  • Board Eligible/Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine/Pediatrics
  • Must be comfortable seeing patients ages 6 and up
  • Procedure experience is a big plus!

If you're ready to prioritize patient care over production metrics and bring your clinical expertise to a supportive, innovative environment, we want to hear from you.
