Job Description

Locums Primary Care PhysicianLocation: Anaheim, CaliforniaSetting: Primary Care, OutpatientStart Date: 1/5/2026Contract Duration: 13+ weeksAvailability & Schedule
  • Schedule: MondayFriday, 8:00 AM5:00 PM
  • Shift: 5x8s (7 hours patient-facing + 1 hour admin/lunch)
  • Patient Volume: 1820 patients per day
  • Days/Week: Ideally 4 or 5
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years outpatient primary care
  • Patient Ages: Must see all ages
  • EMR: Epic experience required
  • Procedures: Preferred if able to perform minor outpatient IM procedures (e.g., biopsies, sutures)
  • Local Candidates Only: Must reside in California (LA, Long Beach, or Orange County preferred)
Licenses & Certifications
  • California medical license (unrestricted) required
  • DEA certificate required
  • BLS or ACLS required
  • Board Certification preferred, not required
Support & Additional Info
  • Full support staff provided (practice manager, front office, medical assistants, patient care associates)
  • No supervision responsibilities
  • Equipment: Standard outpatient primary care setup
  • Charting Software: Epic
