Medical Center seeking Primary Care Physician to join team

- Physician will provide comprehensive care for patients of all ages, focusing on preventive care, chronic disease management, and acute care services. The physician will coordinate care with specialists as needed.

- Outpatient clinical role ' no inpatient

- Standard office hours (Mon-Thurs: 8am-5pm / Fri: 8am-12pm)

- Protected administrative time (4.5 days clinic time with .5-day admin time per week)

- 36 patient contact hours / 4 admin hours

- Call Schedule: Minimal, shared among all physicians on a 1:7 to 1:8 rotation

- EMR: Cerner

- Dedicated nurse and shared medical assistant

- Average Patient Volume: 18-22 patients per day

- Patient Census: Primarily adult and geriatric patients, with some pediatric cases

- Demographics: A mix of rural and suburban patients, with common cases such as hypertension, diabetes, and routine wellness checks, etc.

- Visit Types: Sick visits, follow-ups for chronic conditions, annual physical exams, and acute care visits, etc.

- Typical Procedures: In-office procedures include minor dermatologic procedures, joint injections, skin biopsies, routine vaccinations, and women's health screenings.

- Sign-on Bonus: $35k+ sign-on bonus to assist with the transition.

- Competitive Compensation: Guaranteed base salary (typically MGMA median) + WRVU bonuses (250-270k +/-).
