• Shifts vary -- 8 am - 8 pm, 12 am - 12 pm, 8 pm - 8 am
• Minimum 5 - 7 consecutive shifts per month commitment required
• Annual volume: 7,000 - 8,000 patients; 0.75 - 1 PPH
• Emergency medicine -- hospital-based setting
• Comfortable delivering babies in the ED required
• ATLS, PALS, ACLS, and BLS certifications required
• Board certification required
• Housing provided
• Paid malpractice insurance; pre-paid travel and housing expenses
