Locums Louisville, Kentucky, Emergency Medicine Opening

Coverage Dates:February1, 2026 May 31, 2026 (Ongoing Need)

Schedule:

• Shifts: 7:00 a.m. 7:00 p.m. | 7:00 p.m. 7:00 a.m.

• No on-call requirement

• Providers will rotate between two nearby locations - both locations are Freestanding ER/Urgent Care facilities

Position Details:

• Role: Emergency Medicine Physician

• Support Staff: APCs provide 22 hours of daily coverage

• Trauma Designation: No trauma level designation

• Average Volume: ~80 patients per 24 hoursBoth locations average 60% ER and 40% ER visits

Requirements:

• Board Certified in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Practice

• BLS and ACLS required if not ABEM certified

• Active Kentucky License Required

• EMR: Epic
