We are currently seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician to join our healthcare team. You will provide high-quality medical care in a fast-paced emergency department setting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a variety of cases in a Level II Trauma Center.

Requirements:

• Board Certified in Emergency Medicine or Board Eligible within 5 years of completion of residency
• ACLS certification required 
• Valid Illinois medical license
• Minimum of 12 months of experience in Emergency Medicine

Schedule:

• Part-time, 10 shifts per month
• Night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM
• Inpatient setting with no call requirements

Practice Setting:

• 13 ED beds, 81 inpatient beds, 28,000 annual patient volume
• Average patient volume of 2 patients per hour
• We uphold a standard of care that is compassionate, consistent, and emphasizes the well-being of patients and staff

Cases & Procedures:

• Provide immediate medical attention to emergencies involving adult and pediatric patients
• Perform standard emergency procedures including intubation, central lines, joint reductions, sedation, laceration repair, and lumbar punctures
• Manage patient care in a single coverage environment at night
