A health services network in Texas is actively seeking a licensed Physician to join their growing Emergency Department in Brownsville to provide locum coverage.

About the Opportunity:

• Schedule: 24-hour MD coverage
• Hours: 6am to 6pm or6pm to 6am (12-hour shifts)
• Setting: Freestanding Emergency Department

Responsibilities:

• Managing full-spectrum emergency cases (adult & pediatric)
• Leading trauma resuscitations
• Stabilizing stroke and critical care patients
• Supervising and collaborating with APPs
• Coordinating with Consulting Specialists
• Performing other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

• Licensed to practice Medicine in the State of Texas
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in ABEM/ABOEM
• Active ATLS and PALS certification
• Active DEA registration
• Proficient in handling Trauma and Critical Care cases
• Strong clinical decision-making skills
• Effective communication skills

Desired Skills:

• Experience in moderate-to-high volume Emergency Department settings
• Proficiency in Emergency Medicine procedures
