Job Description

Detroit Lakes, Minnesota Emergency Medicine JobClinical Role:
  • Permanent opening with 24-hour coverage
  • 12-hour shifts: 7:00 a.m. 7:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. 7:00 a.m. (single coverage 1 a.m. 9 a.m.)
  • 1.0 FTE = 11 shifts/month with optional additional shifts
  • Annual volume: 13,00014,000 patient visits/year
  • Level III Trauma Center; Top Performing Rural Hospitals; Joint Commission Accredited
  • NP/PA coverage weekdays and weekends (9 a.m. 1 a.m., 7 days/week)
  • Collegial, team-oriented department
  • 4 physicians currently in specialty at site, seeking a 5th
  • Average patient volume: 1618/day
  • EPIC DAX ambient voice for clinical documentation

Requirements:
  • BC/BE Emergency Medicine preferred or BC/BE Family Medicine with EM experience or additional EM training
  • ACLS, ATLS/CALS, PALS certifications required
