Locums Electrophysiology Opportunity - Sioux City, IowaStep into a busy, high-functioning cardiology practice offering full-spectrum EP services and strong APP support. This is an excellent opportunity for fellowship-trained electrophysiologists ready for an ongoing locums role with flexible scheduling and regional outreach.

Assignment Overview: Start Date: ASAP Duration: Ongoing Shift Volume: 20 shifts/month Schedule: MondayFriday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM (8-hour shifts) On-Call: Shared with 3 interventionalists Outreach: Up to 2 days/month to surrounding Iowa/NE sites Telehealth available

Clinical Duties: 23 procedure/OR days per week Full inpatient and outpatient responsibilities Daily clinic volume: 2025 patients Average hospital census: 1020 cardiology patients Appointment duration: 1530 minutes Device management: pacemakers, ICDs, loop recorders (in-clinic transmissions & reprogramming) EP Procedures:? EP studies? Ablations (afib, aflutter, SVT, PVC, VT)? Pacemaker/ICD/loop/temp pacer insertions? Generator changes? TEE and cardioversions

Team Environment: Team of 3 physicians and 5 APPs 1:1 physician to nurse ratio 2:1 ancillary staff support 5 exam rooms per provider EP PA available to assist with volume and follow-ups On-site imaging, lab, and pharmacy Teaching opportunities with interns and preceptors available

Patient Demographics: Serving Siouxland and surrounding area Regional population: 100,000+

Technology: EMR: Cerner PowerChart

Qualifications: Board Certified (will consider BE/new grads) Fellowship-trained in Electrophysiology Active Iowa license or IMLC LOQ required Clean malpractice history required Availability: Full-time (minimum 2+ weeks/month)
