A health services network in Connecticut is actively seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) and/or Physician Assistant (PA) to join their growing Cardiothoracic Surgery team at one of their facilities in Fairfield County.

About the Opportunity:

• Schedule: Three 13-hour shifts per week
• Hours: 7am to 8pm or 7pm to 8am

Responsibilities:

• Inpatient cardiac surgery coverage
• Manage post-operative cardiac surgery patients
• Chest tube insertion and management
• Float within the cardiac surgery service as needed

Qualifications:

• Master's Degree
• CT Nurse Practitioner (NP) and/or Physician Assistant (PA) license
• Board Eligible / Certified
• Experience with Chest Tube Insertion/Management

Desired Qualifications:

• Inpatient Cardiac Surgery experience
• First Assist in Cardiac Surgery OR
• Working knowledge of Epic EMRs
