A Mid Sized Hospital is seeking a Cardiothoracic Surgeon for locum tenens coverage.
The facility is located in Michigan.
This role involves a mix of inpatient (70%) and outpatient (30%) responsibilities, including outpatient visits, inpatient rounding, and surgery call. The schedule starts with orientation on June 13, followed by proctoring on June 16-17, with ongoing coverage beginning June 18 until a permanent provider is hired. APPs take the first call for ICU, hospital floors, outpatients, and the ED. Cases include CABGs and general cardiac procedures, with full CVOR support, two CV anesthesiologists, and APPs handling first call and vein harvesting.
