They also have both Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners supporting their cardiologists as well as their other physicians. The new cardiologists will receive many internal referrals from the internists and family medicine physicians within this practice. Skills: Board Certification in Echocardiography, Vascular Imaging and/or Nuclear Medicine would be a plus but are not required. Their office is fully equipped with a nuclear camera and echo machine to perform stress tests, echocardiograms, and nuclear medicine, etc. The cardiologists perform the following tests: cardiac stress tests, blood pressure monitoring, chest x-rays, echocardiograms and stress echocardiograms.
