Looking for a focused inpatient cardiology role with a predictable schedule? This locums opportunity in Suffolk, VA offers one dedicated week per month of inpatient-only coverage for a mix of adult and geriatric patients. You'll be part of a well-supported hospital team using EPIC, with APPs managing H&Ps under your oversight. Looking for Hospital coverage and STEMI coverage at Medical Center - 1 week/month, 24hr. Coverage

Position Details:

• Need: 1 week per month ongoing coverage

• Setting: 100% inpatient, hospital-based

• Patient Population: 50% adult / 50% geriatric

• Admissions/Discharges: 28 per day (varies)

• Patient Stay: Typically 24 days

• Rounding Volume: 1525 patients daily

• Coverage Includes: 7 nights per week and 1 weekend per month

• APPs handle H&Ps with provider oversight

• EMR: EPIC (training provided)

Qualifications:

• Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology Required

• BLS, ACLS, ATLS Required

• Active Virginia license Required (no IMLC candidates)

• Clean malpractice and background files required for consideration
