Interventional Cardiology Physician Job Description & Requirements Interventional Cardiology Physician StartDate: ASAP Pay Rate: $315.25 - $341.25 This facility is seeking an Interventional Cardiology Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need. Details and requirements for this opportunity: Schedule: 10 days per month beginning January 2027. Preferred schedule is two 5-day stretches, each including a weekend, or one 10-day stretch covering two weekends. Must be available through at least 7:00 AM Monday. Scheduled as a 9-hour regular day plus night call. Ongoing monthly availability required. Practice Setting: Inpatient. Types of Cases: General and interventional cardiology, including inpatient catheterizations, urgent catheterizations, temporary pacemakers, ST-elevation myocardial infarctions (STEMIs), stat echocardiograms, and electrophysiology (EP) calls and consultations. Transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) required. Must independently practice for at least one year after fellowship. Patient Volume: Approximately 15 patients per shift. Credentialing Timeframe: 45-120 days; temporary privileges available. Electronic Medical Record: Epic. Certifications Required: Board Certified in Internal Medicine - Interventional Cardiology; fellowship required. Licensure Required: Not specified.
