Join our healthcare team and provide coverage for our Anesthesiology department in August. We offer flexible scheduling and optional call to supplement your work-life balance. 

Practice Setting:

• 12-bed inpatient unit with 8 operating suites and the potential to expand
  • 40-bed NICU with 24/7 in-house Neonatology coverage
  • 10 exam rooms, 4 of which are equipped with anesthesia capability
• Support includes a CRNA care team, pediatric EM physicians, hospitalists, general surgeons, and other pediatric specialists 

Schedule Details:

• 7 AM - 3 PM or 5 PM 
• Call is optional 

Cases and Procedures:

• Assist in directing and coordinating activities in the Anesthesia Department
• Responsible for medical management of patients undergoing surgery and medical procedures, including pre-anesthesia assessment, obtaining consent, and discussing anesthetic options and risks
• Handle induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitor the patient's physiological condition and perform clinical interventions as necessary

Requirements:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited College of Medicine 
• ECFMG and FLEX required
• Licensed physician with completed residency in Anesthesia
