An adult inpatient mental health facility in Brooklyn, NY is seeking a Neurologist to provide part-time inpatient consultation services. This role focuses on evaluating neurological concerns, recommending treatment plans, and documenting consult findings for adult patients in a psychiatric care setting.

• Shift: Day shift
• Schedule: Part-time, flexible weekdays
• Hours: 8 hours per month
• Setting: Inpatient adult mental health

Responsibilities:

• Provide neurology consultations for scheduled patients at the facility.
• Perform neurological exams and assessments for patients with conditions such as seizure disorders, dementia, and neurological deficits.
• Recommend appropriate workup, interpret results, and develop treatment recommendations for neurological concerns.
• Review medications and suggest dosage adjustments as clinically indicated.
• Document consultation findings in the electronic medical record and communicate recommendations to referring clinicians.

Qualifications:

• Active New York State MD or DO license.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology.
