Level IV Epilepsy Program
Seeking a fellowship-trained Epilepsy and Functional Neurosurgeon to join a physician-led, professionally managed healthcare system in beautiful St. Petersburg, Florida.

Program Strengths:
This position is part of a long-established Level IV epilepsy program with more than 20 consecutive years of designation. The program is supported by a dedicated neuroscience unit, neuroscience-trained nurses, AANN epilepsy-certified nurses, and a comprehensive video-EEG monitoring unit with 24/7 ABRET-certified EEG technologist coverage.
Advanced capabilities include:
- Stereo-EEG
- Awake intraoperative brain mapping for seizures and tumors in eloquent cortex
- Implantation of deep subcortical nuclei for drug-resistant epilepsy
- Responsive neurostimulation
- 3T MRI with ILAE Harness protocol
- Ictal SPECT co-registered to MRI
- High-resolution PET with MRI fusion
- Diffusion tensor imaging for tractography
- Access to magnetic source imaging
The multidisciplinary team includes fellowship-trained epileptologists, epilepsy and movement disorder neurologists, neuroradiologists, epilepsy neuropsychologists, speech-language pathologists, and dedicated neuroscience clinical staff.

Candidate Requirements:
- MD or DO
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurosurgery
- Fellowship training in Functional Neurosurgery preferred
- Demonstrated experience in epilepsy surgery required
- Eligible for an unrestricted Florida medical license
