Emergency Medicine Physician opportunity in Pensacola, FL

We are seeking an ABEM board-certified or board-eligible emergency medicine physicians to join a well-established EM program serving both a main hospital emergency department and multiple affiliated freestanding EDs in the Pensacola, Florida, area.

Physicians will be expected to participate in teaching, with additional compensation provided. Medical students rotate through the department from the University.

Opportunity Overview

• Teaching opportunity with extra pay
• Automatic credentialing at all four facilities, all included in one contract:

Main ED

• 306-bed hospital
• ~65,000 annual ED visits
• 39 ED beds
• 1.6 to 2.0 patients/hour
• Physician coverage: 48 hours/day
• APC coverage: 64 hours/day
• 8 to 9 hour shifts (days and nights)
• EMR: Meditech Expanse
• Bedside ultrasound available
• Non-trauma center
• Certifications: ACLS, PALS, ATLS
