Wichita, KS | Part-time Weekend Cover | Inpatient Child/Adolescent Psychiatry

Location: Wichita, KS
Hours: 16-20hrs/wk

POSITION OVERVIEW:

KVC Wichita is seeking a Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist for a weekend coverage role. The position is ideal for clinicians that cannot commit to a full-time weekday role and require schedule flexibility or wanting to supplement income.

1 or more weekends/month
No oversight requirements
Strong, tenured support staff
No hold paperwork required
Hourly or daily rate negotiable

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide quality-driven care in an inpatient, youth setting.
Evaluate, diagnose, and manage ongoing treatment for Child & Adolescent population, ages 4-18.
Guide, collaborate with multi-disciplinary team of MAs, Nurses, LCSWs, and Techs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

MD or DO with Board Certification or Eligibility in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
Active, unrestricted medical license in KS required or ability to obtain.
Active DEA registration or eligibility to obtain one.
