Inpatient Psychiatry in Childrens Unit | Wichita, KS

Location: Wichita, KS
Hours: 40hrs/wk

Compensation: at, greater 50th %tile MGMA

POSITION OVERVIEW:

An established, childrens hospital is seeking a compassionate, Board Certified Psychiatrist that is confident managing youth demographics to join its team due to ongoing demand. Enjoy a fully staffed, highly tenured multi-disciplinary team that works harmoniously as a team.

9-10 follow-ups, 2-4 initials
No hold paperwork required
Only one weekend a month
No oversight requirements
Salary at, greater 50th %tile MGMA
PTO, Paid Med. Mal, 70% premiums covered, 401k match

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide quality-driven care in an outpatient-focused setting.
Evaluate, diagnose, and manage ongoing treatment for an Adult-only, diverse, patient population.
Guide, collaborate with multi-disciplinary team of MAs, Nurses, LCSWs, and Techs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

MD or DO with Board Certification or Eligibility in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
Active, unrestricted medical license in MO required or ability to obtain.
Active DEA registration or eligibility to obtain one.
