Join a thriving hospital-owned practice with a flexible 3-4 day work week, compensation range up to $360,000, manageable call, student loan repayment opportunities, and a collaborative team of physicians and midwives. Serve as the only OB/GYN practice in the region and receive referrals from surrounding primary care providers and midwives. Practice evidence-based medicine in a state where reproductive rights are constitutionally protected. Hospital administration values physician input and fosters strong physician leadership relationships. Two physicians have remained with the practice for more than 20 years, reflecting exceptional physician satisfaction. Approximately 250-300 births annually. Birth center supports VBACs, water births, 24-hour epidural services, and nitrous oxide for laboring patients. Midwives manage routine labor, uncomplicated vaginal deliveries, and after-hours patient calls. Collaborative physician-midwife model promotes excellent work-life balance. Board Certified or Board Eligible candidates encouraged to apply. Completion of an accredited U.S. or Canadian OB/GYN residency required. Located in beautiful southern Vermont near the borders of New Hampshire and Massachusetts. Family-focused community with excellent public and private school options. Enjoy year-round outdoor recreation including skiing, hiking, biking, kayaking, golfing, and boating.
