Child/Adolescent Medical Director

Location: Kansas City Metro Area

Hours: Full-time, On-site

Compensation: 50^th-75^th MGMA Salary, based on experience

POSITION OVERVIEW:

A Child & Adolescent group in the Kansas City (KS) metro has an opening for a Medical Director to help further evolve and guide its growth due to demand. We are seeking a player-coach that maintains clinical involvement to identify areas for improvement and can develop strategies for team implementation.

New facility <2 years old
Develop QI initiatives and efficiency protocols
Protected admin time
Report directly to Chief Medical Officer
University of Kansas affiliate; academic title optional
50^th-75^th MGMA Salary, based on experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide quality-driven care for Child and Adolescent population.
Evaluate, diagnose, and manage ongoing treatment for a diverse patient demographic.
Guide, collaborate with multi-disciplinary team of MAs, Nurses, LCSWs, and Techs.
Identify quality, efficacy, and efficiency improvements for continuous, patient care enhancements.
Work alongside Chief Medical Officer to marry the facilitys objectives with clinical strategy.

QUALIFICATIONS:

MD or DO with Board Certification or Eligibility in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
Active, unrestricted medical license in KS required or ability to obtain.
Active DEA registration or eligibility to obtain one.
