MAJOR DUTIES - Provide a full scope of diagnostic radiology services for the radiology services. - Provide consultation, reporting the radiologic diagnostics examination, delivering interpretation of the study and the diagnoses of x-ray to the clinician. - Recommend and direct the care and treatment of the patient. - Obtain consultation, provides referral, both within the department and with other medical elements. - Provide advice, professional opinions and written technical studies and professional review upon request by the Chief, Department of Radiology in support of the various boards and committees. - Submit diagnostic radiology reports. - Provide training in the specialty of Diagnostic Radiology to other department physicians and medical students. - Supervise civilian employees assigned to radiology. PERFORMS OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED.
