As a Physician Radiologist you will: - Interpret full range of general diagnostic imaging modality exams to include MRI, CT, Ultrasound, plain film, fluoroscopy, mammography and nuclear scintigraphy. - Evaluate imaging test results for the purposes of diagnosis, patient care, research, and education. - Collaborate with a interdisciplinary team consisting of direct and indirect patient care professionals to include diagnostic imaging staff, x-ray technicians, laboratory staff, and referring clinical team and providers. - Oversee the development and evolution of imaging service protocols, technologists, service practices, and the interdisciplinary communication / interaction with Clinical Services to achieve best practice standards and patient care. - Assist with formulation of plans and procedures for assigned services and coordinate radiological services with other medical activities - Advise on radiological supplies and equipment, capability of available resources, and the future needs. - Provide technical and scientific oversight of scientific staff. - Directs supporting employees during the performance of scheduled or emergency care procedures to include biopsies and abscess drainages.
