Lead an established inpatient team in Maine! This position offers 7 on 7 off day shift with no procedures. This is a beautiful place to live and is a short drive to Portland, ME and little over 2 hours to Boston.

The Chief works collaboratively with the President and CEO of CMH, the President of the two critical access hospitals, the Chief Medical Officer, nursing leadership, and medical staff leaders.  Provide overall clinical leadership for Hospital Medicine services at 3 local hospitals.  Serve as a clinical role model and maintain active clinical practice appropriate to the role and site needs.  Preference for those with experience leading Hospital Medicine programs in community or rural hospital settings.  Lead, recruit, retain, and develop hospitalists and advanced practice providers across CMH facilities..  Proven leadership experience in Hospital Medicine or a comparable physician leadership role is required.  Board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
