Hospital seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician to provide coverage starting ASAP
- Duration: 1 year
- Schedule: Rotational schedule with no call; 10-hour shifts (Morning, Mid, Night).
- Orientation: 2-day shadow and orientation required.
- No call or rotation schedule requirements; all shifts are standard and on-site.
- Must be ABEM certified.
- Open to new graduates.
- Daily Billable Encounters: 119
- Average Daily Admissions: 22
- Consults: Yes, number of consults per day is unknown.
- Patient Population: Rural Tennesse
- Not a trauma center. Accredited chest pain center and stroke center with average acuity.
- Support Staff: Nurses and Techs.
- Follow-Up Cases: Handled based on the case specifics, either inpatient or outpatient.
- Average Patient Census: 101
- Common Cases: Standard emergency medicine visits.
- Annual ER Admissions: 2,650
- EM Physician Staffing: 1-2 physicians per shift, plus APPs.
