OVERVIEW

Join a private group for a Laborist Role. NO CALL & No office or clinic duties.

ROLE

• Choose 1 of 2 Hospitals -24 Hour Shifts majority, with some 12 hour
  ' 2-3 Providers each daily clinic
  ' Level 3 NICU with MFM on site
  ' <90 monthly deliveries on average

DUTIES

Deliver obstetrical and gynecological care to patients including but not limited to providing contraceptive services (at hospitals that provide contraceptive services)

Deliver direct patient care to high-risk patients including situations where Maternal Fetal Medicine support may only be available by telephone or video consultation

Participate daily in Labor and Delivery board rounds

Serve as the 'Safety Officer' on Labor and Delivery to ensure that all patients, regardless of their primary admitting clinician, have the safest possible outcomes

Support community physicians and midwives through clinical assistance as requested including practice coverage as requested and as safely available

Shifts:

Majority 24 hour or some 12 hour shifts

Full-time = 5'9 (24-hr) shifts per 28-day block

Promotable to Site Director

PACKAGE

W2 employed opportunity

Guaranteed shifts and hourly rate/commensurate with experience

Range starting $150 per hour

SKILLS

'Ability to obtain/maintain medical license in state of California
'1+ years experience preferred
'Board Certified/Board Eligible Obstetrics & Gynecology
