As a Physician Internist you will: - Serve as a recognized authority in Internal Medicine for the residency program, providing expert-level instruction, curriculum development, and high-level clinical oversight for students and residents. - Direct and perform diagnostic and therapeutic internal medicine procedures. - Attend key medical meetings and conferences and serves as a subject-matter expert on areas of inpatient medicine. - Manage high-acuity medical care for hospitalized patients as an Attending Physician on the inpatient internal medicine service. - Direct the comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and longitudinal management of patients. - Direct the delivery of advanced clinical education by designing and facilitating formal didactic sessions, high-acuity case conferences, and specialized bedside instruction, translating complex medical theories into practical applications
